November 15: Homelessness, Health Care and Housing Featuring Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler

Homelessness in Portland has risen to crisis levels, with people sleeping on the streets or in tents throughout the metropolitan area. The cost of housing, meanwhile, continues to rise, leaving some of the city’s most vulnerable individuals with limited options, while the homeless population has limited access to needed health care services.

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler will take the stage to discuss his office’s proposed approach to this growing crisis. His talk will be followed by a reactor panel of mental health professionals, homeless advocates, and business leaders.
