September 17 | 2020 Partners in Health Dinner

Oregon Health Forum’s 2020 Partners in Health Dinner embodies the community spirit of Oregon’s health care professionals and offers an unparalleled opportunity to network with Oregon’s top health care executives and professionals.

This year’s event will feature Dave Dahl, a former prison inmate who went on to found Dave’s Killer Bread. Dahl says he is “fighting the good fight” one day at a time in recovery. He believes that forgiveness of self and others is essential to inner peace and personal growth — one of the many lessons learned through is his  personal struggles and triumphs.

Emcee Shelia Hamilton, a friend of Dahl’s, is a frequent speaker and emcee for her favorite causes, including mindful mental health. Hamilton was awarded the Judy Cushing Life Award and  the Ron Schmidt Community Service Award for her advocacy for people with mental illness.

At this event, Oregon health Forum will present Heart of Health Awards to individuals who have contributed substantially to the health of the community, inspiring and implementing positive change or innovation.
