Moderator

Dr. Marguerita Lightfoot – Ronald Naito-John McAnulty Professor in Health Equity, OHSU-PSU School of Public Health
Dr. Marguerita Lightfoot served as Associate Dean for Research at the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health until 2024 and is currently a professor of public health. Her work centers on adolescent and young adult health, with a focus on the development of responsive, efficacious preventive interventions for populations experiencing elevated risk for adverse health outcomes.

Dr. Sejal Hathi – Director, Oregon Health Authority
Dr. Hathi most recently served as New Jersey’s deputy health commissioner for public health services and its designated state health officer. She also served in the Biden-Harris Administration as White House Senior Policy Advisor for Public Health, and held joint faculty appointments at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine & Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Kristin Anderson – Executive Director, Ronald W. Naito MD Foundation
Kris Anderson, born and raised in Oregon, is a nonprofit and philanthropic consultant. At the RWN Foundation, she supports organization strengthening, protecting, and transforming communities and the planet, with core focuses on health equity, climate, sustainable communities and arts and culture, advancing practical partnerships and measurable outcomes statewide.

Stephanie Barr – Executive Director, Lift Urban Portland (Lift UP)
Stephanie brings deep experience having worked in Northwest nonprofits since 2002. At Lift UP, she fosters holistic food security by providing Portland residents with an abundance and variety of nutritious food and the resources needed to prepare meals in nourishing ways. Lift UP enables our neighbors to lead healthier, more independent lives.

Mary Peveto – Executive Director, Neighbors for Clean Air
Mary Peveto co-founded Neighbors for Clean Air in 2010 which empowers Oregonians with information and tools to ensure everyone breathes clean air. She activated friends, neighbors and others throughout the region to work for stricter standards to regulate air toxins and to galvanize the citizen action necessary to effect change.

Laura Golino de Lovato – Executive Director, Northwest Pilot Project (NWPP)
Laura Golino de Lovato has 30+ years in nonprofit management and advocacy. At NWPP she leads a team helping very low-income adults 55+ in Multnomah County secure and keep housing. She also serves on regional housing and homelessness boards, advancing policies that reduce barriers and improve stability for older adults.
