Moderator

Ifeoma Muoto – Health Equity Director, Boston Medical Center Health System; Affiliate Professor, OHSU-PSU School of Public Health
Ifeoma Muoto is a population health professional committed to advancing equitable, high-quality care and improving Medicaid policy. At Boston Medical Center Health System, her work is focused on addressing disparities across the system. Previously, as Community Health Director at CareOregon, she helped develop its community-based organization network to improve whole person care for members.
Panelists

Maureen Hinman – Executive Director, Oregon School-Based Health Alliance
For 15 years, Maureen has led OSBHA, partnering with school health providers, districts, and community groups to strengthen school health systems with youth as key partners. She advanced policies that doubled funding for school-based health centers and leads Oregon’s community schools initiative to improve student health and success.

Chelsea King – Executive Director, The Collaborative
Chelsea is Executive Director of The Collaborative, advancing long-term solutions to improve youth health through cross-sector engagement with a community-based approach. She brings experience in adult education, public policy, organizational development and strategic innovation. Chelsea also served as Chair and Vice-Chair of the West Linn-Wilsonville School Board (2015- 2023).

Andi M. Walsh – Senior Health Policy Advisor, Children’s Institute
Andi joined Children’s Institute in 2023 to strengthen its health expertise and inform Oregon’s early childhood health policy and advocacy agenda. Her background spans policy, advocacy and development, with a focus on innovative care models addressing social determinants of health and offering healing tools for individuals and families.

Jun Orion – Student/Advocate
Jun Orion is entering Oregon State University as a freshman, where they will study public health and Spanish. In high school, they advanced local and statewide campaigns for school-based health centers in Eugene School District 4J, promoting access, equity and student well-being and raising awareness of school health’s community impact.

Juan Pedro Moreno Olmeda – Washington County Community Organizer, Unite Oregon
Juan Pedro is a community organizer, soccer coach and first-generation Mexican-American from Hillsboro. At Unite Oregon, he has worked on the TV Highway Equitable Development Strategy, ensuring historically excluded communities have a voice in infrastructure decisions. He’s passionate about immigration reform, affordable housing, social justice and building resilience through community.
